Please tell a story about a time when a person or organization tried to help someone or change something in your community:

Drug And Alcohol Abuse

Lilian Luoki is my name. I am a student at Mwoli Girls high school based in Kakamega south district. About sometime last year we were lucky to be visited by a certain Non-governmental organization named APHIA II. They came to teach us about Drug and alcohol abuse which has claimed much of the lives of our youth. We were explained the effects of Drug and alcohol abuse and how it has wasted the lives of many people, moreso, the youths. In the long run, we really learnt a lot and during the holidays we even extended the information to our friends at our various homes. I am sure their initiative of moving from school to school to extend this information will have a huge impact on our society.
