Please tell a story about a time when a person or organization tried to help someone or change something in your community:

Community Kiseu Day

The scouting movement is one of an organization that has changed my society, from individuals to personality and the whole fraternity. This was all it did on every occasion. It was 17th August 2000 when the new commissioner was installed in our district. He was my Geography teacher. My community was recognized as the dumpsite area. Bwana Kiseu on his first task was to change it from dumpsite to green stadium estate. There was thorough clean-up on the area. Papers that were once scattered on all the grasses and tree tops all came to say bye bye to soweto estate. Tis clean-up was highly appreciated by the people living in our estate that the society marked the date marked above as the community day named Kiseu Day. We have transformed the area to be what it is today. Eleven years down the line we honour this individual with his movement.
