Please tell a story about a time when a person or organization tried to help someone or change something in your community:

Water Filtration

My name is Ruth Khasavuli. I am a mother of 3, that is 2 boys and 1 girl. For a long time water bourn diseases has been a menace to our community. About five years ago, i had two children but both of them died due to the water bourne diseases. most of the water we access, be it from dams, rivers etc is really contaminated and so we have to boil first before we consume. And sometimes boiling is not sufficient enough to kill the germs in the water that courses water bourn diseases. However we have had to access a unique machine called life straw which filters the water and makes it pure. this gadget was brought in our region by a swiss company called vester guard Frandsen. By use of this gadget water is made clean and thus incidents of infections due to water bourne diseases are now minimal.
