Please tell a story about a time when a person or organization tried to help someone or change something in your community:

Changa Drinking

Changaa is a traditional brew which is prepared using distilation method ie boiling, evaporating and then condensing. The ingridients are fermented maize flour, millet, fingermillets, yeast and some sugar. This brew is prepared/distilled by women and men here in the slum under unhygienic conditions and at times poisonous ingredients are used which are harmful to human being.Early last year several people died here after consuming the brew and hundreds rendered blind. This resulted into parliament ammending laws to legalize this brew so as to make distillers to operate freely but under set guidelines. This law is known as 'MUTUTHO LAW'.This has helped to reduce cases of deaths from this brew. But there is still alot to be done since some people have not conformed to this.
