Putting A Hold On Domestic Violence

Domestic violence was one of the biggest challenges women had because it used to bring alot of suffering to both women and their children, due to the reay their husband were treating them. Men used to over drink, alcohol after threaten, kick, punish, sometimes even out off some parts of their wives body parts sometime out of ignorance or un-inteddedly This was realised and a sensitization programme was initiated by the village councillors with the health of Nyakabare women group who taught the public about the effect of domestic violence. They also set up law against it and this has brought a hold on hometic
