Please tell a story about a time when a person or organization tried to help someone or change something in your community:

Red Cross

The Red Cross helped us when our houses burnt to ashes during some past violence scamishes. Our houses were burnt to ashes and we did not salvage anything the only property we had was the only clothes we wore. While we were sitting there helplessly a group of red cross personell arrived and build us a temporary tent to sleep for a few nights, the next day more personel came and offered us some clothings and utensils after they came with food. We were really thankful because we were very helpless and we had no hope. A week later they provided us shelter by the help of the local chief. We were provided with constant food until when we were back at our feet. I could not imagine what life could have been without them I almost lost confidence in life but the red cross community restored my hopes in life.
