Please tell a story about a time when a person or organization tried to help someone or change something in your community:

Academic Sponsorship

I am aged 65 and the grandmother of Roda Aoko from Kakamega Central district. This girl's parents are both unavailable. The father was never known while her mother is my daughter who is a victim of cancer. I have had to battle with Roda through her life until now that she is 12 and in class 6. A good Samaritan has now come in hardy to help her education through sponsorship from this year 2012 (since May). I am very happy.
