Please tell a story about a time when a person or organization tried to help someone or change something in your community:

Life As A Community In Mathare

Living as a community is very beneficial becasue people use this chance to assist each other. This is not the case as most people in Mathare tend to be independent. This is drawn on ethnic boundaries. People fear other tribes hence people of the same tribe confine themselves together. It is very strange because the problems and challenges they go through are the same and they should come together to help each other. The church has always encouraged the people of mathare to live together as family or community but this has still moved to be a big challenge. When people come together as a community, distributing even donations become very easy but when they are divided like it is in mathare, helping is a big challenge.
