Water Is Life

Safe water project was initiated to help curb water problem in several parts of the country and Kobongo village was amongst the places that benefited from this project. Safe water project brought resourses and got manpower from the community members since they were the beneficiaries of the project. The ground was dug upto the water table after that the water was dumped into a big water tank. The water serves quite a number of community members and it is being charged at ksh 2 per 20 litres Jerican. since the water was dug in a school compound half of the money goes to the school for development and half for maintanance of the water project.
