Please tell a story about a time when a person or organization tried to help someone or change something in your community:

Saving The Future

In my community was this big problem of deforestation, individuals and group could cut down trees for their personal needs, without having concideration to future generations. Until the old man called Opiyo, came forth to educate them on the importance of forest conservation and prevention from human pollution. he used to held workshops within the village baraza, demonstrate skitts showing disadvantages of deforestation and environment pollution. surprisingly enough, he managed to change the situation of that community, as the people started taking measures on how to protect the forest and environment they dwell in. Reaforestation took control for the better side of the future generations, after eight months. the fresh breeze from different species of trees started to fill the air. The already dried streams came back to life, also the affected aquatic lives got another chance to enjoy their habitat. A better environment is the key to a better future.
