Please tell a story about a time when a person or organization tried to help someone or change something in your community:

Poultry Rearing As A Livelihood (kuku Wa Kienyeji Ni Pesa)

Many poultry farmers have for a long time been making birds and realizing low productivity and returns from their birds. This was majorly attributed to the poor bird rearing methods among the farmers as well as limited knowledge on proper pests and diseases management practices to employ in handling their birds. This situation changed a few months ago when wewasafo through their agriculture and food security department. The organization started visiting farmers from Isula village as part of their program in partnership with KAPAP to promote local poultry rearing as well as marketing of matured birds and also vaccinating and disease control. Ever since farmers from Isulu have gradually started realizing returns for all the their time and money put into the business.
