Please tell a story about a time when a person or organization tried to help someone or change something in your community:

Community Envirinmental Protection

For many months, the residents of maraba & lwatingu areas in Kakamega central district have been having a serious problem with waste disposal by the municipal council of Kakamega. This is because raw sewage was being carelesly channeled towards their estates making the area to be inhabitable as many infections were being seen in their children. They had tried to cry out in vain until an organization from the area known as Maraba-Lutungu residents Association came to their aid. The organization fought head on with the council until the sewage was sometime this year diverted elsewhere where it could not cause much environmental damage as well as health Threats.
