Women As Decision Makers

As Kantai explained women in hercommunity are well respected but undermined in many activities in the community. In Kilgoris where Kantai comes from, Men are only the decision makers. Women has no rights in that they are being shadowed. kantai has started her own organisation in helping women in the Maasai community to fight for their rights and be recognised. Men have taken all the responsibility in her community women have no say. kantai women association is fighting now for women equality opportunities. in all aspects of making sustainable development in women leadership and priorities in achieving gender equality.
