Thief Punishment

A church thief has been fined sh 5000 by a malindi court.He will serve two months in jail i he fail to raise the fine.Salim kibwagizo appeared before malindi chief magistrate.Selina Odero and pleaded guilty to the charge.He was charged that on April 2nd at Dalton village within kilifi county stole a cockerel, the propert of Hasa mazungu.The prosecutor chief inspector paul odidi told the court that day around 7.pm salim kibwagizo was cought stealing the domestic fowl.Delivering judgment the magistrate noted that cases of perty theft were on increase in malindi farm.He therefore oedered that to pay a fine of sh 5000 or serve two months imprisonment in default.
