Please tell a story about a time when a person or organization tried to help someone or change something in your community:

Vertical Farms

Since there is no land to cultivate people have resorted to use vertical farms. Vertical farms are farms, that are manmade. They are made by filling soil in sacks(bags) and planting vegetables such as kales and onions. Even though there is no land in mathare to cultivate people have to eat and live and that is how the vertical farms were created. Those who have the vertical farms use them for home consuption and some even sell the vegetables in the market(street). From the sales, they buy alternatives that they can prepare and eat in their houses. Vertical farms are a good idea as they help improve the lives of the people of mathare.
