Buying Of Cattles From Heardes

The drought in the arid and semi arid regions of the country are unbearing this is due to the change in the climatic conditions in the country thus leaving the region with no rain and since the pastoralist communities mostly occupy those regions in the country, this has lead to the loss of cattle at an alarming rate thus affecting the loss of cattle at an alarming rate thus affecting the economic status of the people living in the regions. Due to this the ministry of livestock inconjuntion with USAID launched a program to buy out the weak cattles from the pastoralists in order for them not to go at a loss when the cattles succum to loss of life. This has helped mentain the economic status of the people in the region.
