Please tell a story about a time when a person or organization tried to help someone or change something in your community:

An Empowered Woman

Women in kakamega and the county as a whole had been regarded as people who are any there to be seen and not to be heard . For a very long time their voices could not be heard though they are the majority due to retrogressive cultures. When the new constitution of kenya was set in place in 2010,WEW'ASAFO had the responsibility of educating the people in Kakamega county about the new constitution especially the devolved government .This is here when women were empowered to come up and vie for elective posts in the country.Agnes, was one of the women who were empowered to come up and vie for elective posts and compete with men.She is now seeking for a seat of women representative in kakamega county.
