Child Abduction

Children's officers and police are investigating a child trafficking case involving a ten year old boy believed to have been abducted. The boy was reportedly rescued from a woman at Boochi Borubu. He was allegedly subjected to cruelty. He is in standard one in Nyamesocho Primary School. The woman was arrested and ordered to take the boy to hospital. The woman said she badly needed the boy child as she only has girls in her family. She also said she beat the boy once he was misbehaving. The boy who had his home wanted to go back to his parents home in Kitale.
