It is between life and death due to lack of water and food in the north Eastern province. Water bore holes have dried up and the growing vegetables are witing and changing leaves colour.Women walk for 50 km in search for water from river. How sad it was seeing livestock collapse and die. Young children crowd along the road to beg for food and water from the passersby. The land is only covered with a heap that brought or spread coughing disease in the region. North Eastern water service and world food organization has tried their best to provide water and food to meet the people's needs but the service provided was not enough satisfy the large population in the region. They have provided water by constructing wells at different points of North Eastern province and food to the hungry.
