Please tell a story about a time when a person or organization tried to help someone or change something in your community:

Fishery Project

In the month of June 2010, the fishery organization came up with a project of making fish ponds in our community as a solution to fighting poverty. Many seminars were organized in which they took place in Mbale town council grounds every Friday, educating the farmers on the importance of fish farming in the community. money was offered to the farmers as capital and labour was offered freely. The fisheries organisation insisted that the money offered was not refundable and so the farmers were to enjoy the profits from the project. The whole community joined in the project so as to reduce poverty which is the main problem in Kenya. The project improved the living standards of the farmers in which they still rejoice.
