Donor Funds Bypass The Ministry Incharge Of Education

The United Kingdom had donated money to be used to improve learning activities in Kenya through the education ministry. The money was to be used to buy textbooks such that every student could get a testbook per subject. The United Kingdom had also paid money tobe used as scholarship to the bright but needy students in Kenya. To our suprise, the money which was used to buy books and offer scholarships was not same as the one given out.The ministry is aid to have lost more that sh.103million through corrupt officials. The case is still in investigations so as the money which was lost woul dbe recovered,But the United Kingdom has not ceased from donating as it would be purchasing the materials itself without using the education ministry.
