Defforestation In Kaimosi

Defforestation is the act of cutting down trees without planting others.in hamisi district at a place called Kaimosi it happened that the people who were given authority to guard the forest,but instead of guarding the forest they started a game where they benefited from it without any one knowing.They could sold trees in the forest and the money they get.They could use them.They forget a policy of cut one plant two which was implemented by the villagers. The forest was the source of many river in the village.medicinemen gathered medicine from the trees and plant.It was a home for wild animals like snakes,monkey,Baboons.The trees was source of rain which made the community to dry. When the villagers released that he was doing illegal sell.The people were sucked out of the village punished them and told them to plant each 100 trees each.And they were arrested for one year.
