Government Innitiative Of Free Primary Education And Subsidized Secondary

Kenyan government has done alot to eradicate poverty by introduction of free primary education and subsidized secondary fees. Through this initiative pupils who were not able to pay their primary school fees can now join primary schools for students who are not capable to pay fees. Hence leading to decreament of thugurey, robbery and even theft cases. In past our village Kegan East in Homabay County, pupils that were suppose to join primary schools used to look after the herds of cattle because nibidy was capable for paying their fees. After which they ended up being watchmen in some sorounding primary schools and even servants. Since the Kegan East village land had became barren due to poor cropping methods, those students started thurgery, robbery and theft because the had large families which won't rely on watchmans salary. They applied the guarilla techniques of hidding in the bush at night and attacking the passers robbing everything they had. Insecurity in the village also became a main issue, they now started to write letters and put under the door demanding for properties they would come for. When night reaches the families who were not well of to pay for their demands ran away for their safety. Since the Introduction of free primary education the cases decreased and poverty rate is low atleast every person is now literate.
