Please tell a story about a time when a person or organization tried to help someone or change something in your community:

Female Genital Mutilation

My story is about a girl who got involved in circumsision. I mean female genital mutilation.she was circumsised and after it she was taken to a place far to be taught hously duties. It is not only one girl but a group of girls. They were taught lessons on how to cook, perform hously duties like fetching firewood and taking care of their husbands so as to be good wives. There was a group by name (iEARN kenya) that organization protected girls from being circumsised and encourage them to learn. They were taught the consequences of (FGM) and being led to early marriage. The organization succeeded and now FGM has been kept at bay.
