Please tell a story about a time when a person or organization tried to help someone or change something in your community:

Think Big

THINKING BIG Our community was very poor in some years back but we managed to come out of that poverty through a certain man to whom i can term as a savior. His names are peter Kiprotich and he is a teacher by profesion in western Kenya in a certain High school. He did not provide finance to our community as a solution but he just gave us a brief lecture to our youths. In his lecture he categorized minds of person in three namely: small minds, big minds and average minds.Small is when people just discuss about people whenever they meet which undermine development, average is when they talk about events and big is when they discuss about ideas which we need to have.He also talked about altitude he said we need to have what we call positive mental thinking, be optistic ans always to have faith,He also gave us some positive encouragement which we are implimenting and by now we have improved a lot.The big percentage of poverty have reduced and we are still improving, so it is his lecture that saved us. That's my story.
