Please tell a story about a time when a person or organization tried to help someone or change something in your community:

Being Saved From Post Election Violence

My name is John Njoroge. I was a victim of post-election violence.I vividly remember sometime back during the time of elections when people did not agree on the presidential outcome and therefore started rioting. Worse of it if you staying in a foreign community, town far from yours, you suffered being affected. My house and the entire property got burnt in the fracas and hence i's totally left in confusion. Life became hard as we then proceeded to internally displaced camp for refuge. Were it not for Red cross our lives could have hit to an untimely dead end. They supplied us with food and other basics from time to time and thus ensured our lives were saved until the end of the protests.
