Please tell a story about a time when a person or organization tried to help someone or change something in your community:

Hiv/aids Vct

Due to the widespread of HIV/AIDS in the country and moreso in the slums there came a need to educate the masses on the proper need of prevention and treatment and how to take care of the victims of HIV/AIDS in order to prevent spread of the disease at an alarming rate in the slums with the high level of prostitution. That is the order of the day in the slums. Due to this Liverpool VCT launched a program to create VCT in all centers and part of the slums in Kibera in order to test medication and guidance on how to deal with the disease in the slum and all parts so as to control its prevention at large. This has led to the reduction on the prevalence rate of the disease.
