Soil Pollution

In my rural areas there are many farmers. Some of these farmers arwe educated while some are not educated. There are some of these farmers who burn the stalhs of maize or other crops on the farm after harvesting some of them only grow one type of crop every season on the same farm some who are capable of buying fertilizers and chemicals to kill pests uses excess which makes the crops to dry up. The government has brought up an association of farmers known as ''ukulima ni utu wetu which teaches farmers on how to apply fertilizers, how to use chemicals to kill pests and crop diseases. This organization also provide free education by moving from home to home, village to village and town to town educating its members on how to farm and plant. This organization also visits some areas and provides the residents with proper seeds which can grow in such a climate.
