Please tell a story about a time when a person or organization tried to help someone or change something in your community:

The Cruel Burden

In the year 1992 there was a fight between Luos and Kalenjins. It was a big fight between the two tribes it was a serious fight i never heard or saw in my life and after since it has never happened again since those years. It starts in the market day when a young man came with a FORD KENYA T.shirt people try to warn his about the T. shirt, within a second he starts to shout Ford Kenya, Ford Kenya and thats how the fight begins. The man comes from Luo and at the moment both tribes share the market. The Kalenjins and the Luos start the fight. People starts running here and there, people try to hide by the river, the Kalenjins starts to throw the Luo into the river and Luos stole their cattle, sheeps, goats and every thing they had in the market. It brings a big problem between the two tribes, theres no way both tribes can buy at their things . Kalenjin cant buy sweet potatoes, Bananas and whatever they can buy from them and the Luos cant even buy some maize that was the big problem between the families. The situation taught the tribes to prepare before the food in their shambas and till that day the market was divided in to two. Most people lost their lives in the scene.
