Please tell a story about a time when a person or organization tried to help someone or change something in your community:

Improving Household Food

The people of Bugengi had problems of food in security for many years without harvesting enough to sustain their families. The children and women grew weak, sick and dying. The parents were working on casual basis to get food inadequate to feed their family." what should we do to improve our economic and social status, "the parents asked by themselves, oh we have been seeing a community worker who is suppoesed to assist us. How do we get him? oh at the local Baraza. Then they approved the community worker of SINGI CBO who explained their roles of assisting the community to improve their problems - "called for 3 days training in food production. The groups started growing both food and cash crops for food and income - After a few years they were food sufficient.
