Please tell a story about a time when a person or organization tried to help someone or change something in your community:

Staying With A Guardian

In the last thirty years, my parents were not able to pay my school fees for primary level education . My father and mother were not able to raise income from farming for food and income. A relative to my family who was saved and honest took me for the stay in his home. He and the family could provide all the basic needs especially, food, shelter, educate and clothing and even medical needs. From std three to std seven when I sat for my KCPE in 1976. I passed highly with A's and when I was called to secondary education I was happy to join and the guardian could still give a fraction of money for my education. When I finished learning, I got a job with an organisation known as ACTION - AID having worked within for ten years. I am very grateful for the guardians efforts.
