A Good Neighbour

Once upon a time,all birds and other animals lived in the same community.They were very different but they usually worked together happily.They all decided to dig a well because they wanted to get clean water.The water available at that time was from muddy pool. Elephant, hyena,rhino,giffaffe and rat went to the dig on Monday, Wednesday and Friday on the first Monday they told but come on the first Monday they told bat come and dig the well with us. Bat was lazy and selfish she did not want to join in the work her neighbors were doing.I wont come Bat said i am not like you can't you see you walk on four legs while i have wings that i used that to flew away.
