Drug Abuse

Drug abuse has become a great concern for people living in urban areas in most parts of the country. This is because the addict can no longer be productive economically hence lowering the economy of the county.They also engage themselves in antisocial behaviours such asrape murder ,theft and some also become conmen/women. Insiaya town,there is a programme being carried out by the kenya Red cross society to help get the addicts out of their addiction. They identify treat and provide food and other essential needs to the people affected.The more is registering tremendous progress as more affected people are getting treatment to become good people in the society.
