Please tell a story about a time when a person or organization tried to help someone or change something in your community:

Awareness For Cure.

HIV/AIDS patients in many community are too difficult in accepting their status.A woman and her husband died of ignorance just because they did not believe in HIV/AIDS.They also did not believe in the Antiretrovirals administered to people.Once the disease is infected to someone,he/she gives up in life and only sees death ahead of them.Accepting your status is something I have tried to advice my people so that they can be free but it has been a difficult task.Another woman who had been diagnosed with the disease agreed to take the ARV's but reached at a point when she gave up and decided to throw all her drugs in a latrine and said that she wanted to wait for her death.''Others not believing AIDS has no cure go for diviness and local healers who advice them to neglect their drugs later succumbing to death because of their stupidity. These people used to be forced to know their status and start immediate medication if needed.
