Please tell a story about a time when a person or organization tried to help someone or change something in your community:

Slum Hope

It is very rare to find an organisation or an individual helping or taking responsibility of anyone be it an orphan or a disabled but it takes heart for some to be free and help them. But this organisation called carolina for kibera has taken charge of so many people from children to adults and has really changed lives around slums. But it has changed and challenged so many around kibera from the rich to the poor as most of them do not believe but this is how it is and they do not demand anything back. They only demand good marks from the kids they sponsor in school. They also sponsor HIV/AIDS positive children and give them enough concelling and advice to help them live positively and optimistically. The only thing i never understand is that whenever the kids know there status as some of them are young and do not even understand themselves.
