Please tell a story about a time when a person or organization tried to help someone or change something in your community:

Supply Of Sanitary Towels

Girls in my home area had for a long time lagged behind in education. This was mainly because they were missing school during session of their monthly periods.Poverty really contributed to them having no access to sanitary towels to help them during their monthly periods.Lack of money to purchase the towels made them to miss classes during times of periods hence drop in performance. However, about two years ago AMREF really changed the lives of many girls. From then they have supplying free sanitary towels schools and thus girls are able to get. This initiative saw girls improving in their studies and from time to time to date they have been posting exemplary results on national exams as they are able to stay at school always like the boys.
