Please tell a story about a time when a person or organization tried to help someone or change something in your community:

I Have Moved Steps Through A Support Group

There are some Groups in my community all which currently aim at lifting the standard of living of the members. Such have affected the community development wise changing the perception or habbits of negativity. The Municipal Women Group I may remember the next of my life for how it has affected me positively. In 2007 when I joined Municipal Women Group I was any steps behind most of my workmates. (I am a business lady). The Group enabled me to get a soft loan with which I increased my sales of second hand clothes. I get Ksh 30,000 and was able to start traveling to Uganda(Busia) to bring more stock that upon venturing deeper in sales, has greatly moved me to a transformed status. I have been able to be more enterprising with the contineous merry go round fundraising that rotates for members. Besides there are joint projects and the income we get translets into shares for us members yearly.
