Please tell a story about a time when a person or organization tried to help someone or change something in your community:

Women Have Offset The Notion That They Are The Weaker Vessels.

I am Sophia Matani, the secretary f Nyuya Women Group in Kakamega Central District. The main purpose of starting our organization three years ago was to instal safe guard measures for women. It believes us to set in place a vibrant framework within which issues of women would be adressed as we also offset the out dated perception on women in the society set up. Through the collective will power women have moved away from the perception that they are the weaker vessels as they show leadership in the society in various forms. Our Group's contribution to the community has been very important and very pertinent and change has been achieved.
