Distribution Of Mosquitoe Nets To Control Malaria

Malaria is a feared disease all over the world including Kenya. this is so as evident in kambiri village in kakamega north. this vilage that will put in their memories of tragedy that happen to them in the year 2009, whereby they were affected greatly with malaria that lead to death of their loved ones. the disease was taught to be caused by the mosquitoes that bread in the nearby forest and also many stagnant waters around the village. above all many of the people did not sleep under treated nets. due to this many suffered from malaria. good enough there was an organization called APHIA II Westeren which came in and educated the people on the need to drain all stagnant water around, to spray the forest with the pesticide and to sleep under treated mosquitoe nets. the organizationalso did spray the forest and distributed the treated nets to the people of the community.
