Please tell a story about a time when a person or organization tried to help someone or change something in your community:

Enhancing Self Reliance/ Self Employment

I am Apolo Singiri of Youth Action Group in Kakamega Central district. We are an enterprising Group, formed in 2007 to try and consolidate our position in society socially, economically and even emotionally. We endevor to upgrade our position, so as to become self reliant. I was not usually able to stand on my own and did not also have faith in self employment. After joining Youth Action Group in 2008, I came to readjust myself and now appreciate self employment and I am doing a lot more on my own for self uplifting and stabilization as the Group facilitates me through funding and capacity building.
