Please tell a story about a time when a person or organization tried to help someone or change something in your community:

Settling Placed Persons

During post election violence in Kenya, some Kenyan citizens became refugees with their own country. This was triggered by ethnic violence in towns and even some rural areas that have different tribes living together. In Eldoret most people were displaced and they became homeless not knowing which laces parts of the country they could run to. This forced them to get together in public places such as fields and even stadiums. The Kenyan government through the ministry of lands and housing have been trying to get the displaced persons back to their homes or even to get resettled in other places. This has proved tough to the government because there are no people willing to give out their lands for resettlement.
