Inspired Widows In The Community

I am Dorcas Nambande Chyimaliti of ID number 1198973 and the chairperson of Wajane Self Help Group in Kakamega North District. Due to increased challenges that we face as widows,we decided to begin this organization so as to secure a formidable framework upon which we can handle our affairs. There are numerous issues both economic and social and since starting off in 2010 we have been able to live to the task. We have a vision that would take us far into good progress as we anticipated enough succes out of our projects of paultry keeping, farming etc.We have been able to benefit our members and pay school fees for our children and find that we are inviting real change even to the community.Through poverty reduction, building of a positive self esteem we are getting an empowerment which could be stregthened even further through supported by any well wishers/sponsors which we highly look foward to.
