Changing Lives Of Women

Maendeleo ya wanawake self help group is a CBO within kakamega district aimed at empowering women to realize their dreams.It has been over the last two years training women on caryoing out agricultural activities such as apialture aquauliture poultry farming growing vegetables etc. and in the process create income to sustain themselves and thheir families.When the women harvest the produce they take it to the CBO office which then lacks foor market for farmers they have also been using loans and grants to women who then use the money to start business or to enhance the business.The CBO has been of great help to the women who have benefited alot in the process.
