Please tell a story about a time when a person or organization tried to help someone or change something in your community:

Redeemed Out Of A Really Traumatising Moment

My name is Rose Teresia and I am 12 years old. My life was left bare and grossly vulnerable when only in a span of the last 6 years both my parents as if by consensus chose to abdicate their parental role on my sister and I by signing out of life a little too soon. If it were possible to petition against this move perhaps in the highest court of law I could have done so. If it wasn't the most cruel thing on earth,it was a little too unfortunate especially to my sister and I only in class 1 and 2, then and at the time we needed them most. This immensely affected us grossly and no amount of time can erase it fully. We both contemplated the worst. Our uncle John took over as our guardian but had to seek for an alternative. In 2008 such alternative worked when he was offered a double chance at Orphans Child Care in Kakamega Central. We have been kept well and taken to school. We however still find ourselves needy. My uncle also later this year 2011 succumbed to the same fate and died. It affects us and causes panic though we are fighting on. WE would appreciate support by any well wishers to our plight.
