The ministry security of Internal security and Administration brought stakeholders in the Business sector Motorists,Pedestrians,Local NGOs and citizens in kakamega town to a seminar on tackling corruption.Delicate involvement in bribery by police officers of which are fully conscious what they are doing is socially wrong and legally punishable everyone in the audience ought to know said the spokesperson. That many police officers and public engage in corruption is not news.Neither is the fact that they know is wrong what is shocking however is the magnitude of the problem to the community towards poverty. The public should avoid giving bribes and police officers avoid asking for bribes. The local NGOs and CBOs were encouraged to preach the word of saying No to corruption.
