Please tell a story about a time when a person or organization tried to help someone or change something in your community:

A Boost For The Week

My name is Dinah Nanjala. I am a member of Jesus Junction Self Help Group. This is a single ladies and widows Group which since 2008 has really tried to help us to charge our status. The most disturbing to challenge for us women is the failure to believe in ourselves because the community has placed a ceiling above our heads too close that nothing can come out of us. To us who have no husbands either because they have died or run away from responsibility it is even more complex. I owe Jesusu Junction Group gratituide that I have gained a more outward forward looking attitude and positive self esteem from being a member. I have also been given material and financial support with which through starting a poultry project I have benefitted greatly.
