Please tell a story about a time when a person or organization tried to help someone or change something in your community:

Poverty Alleviation Initiative

I am a youth with an enterprising innovative mind and together with over 20 other youths we have developed a youth action group with an objective of gen rating development both of our own members as well as the community at large so as to alleviate poverty and ensure that we are secure as youth in the social, economic and physical dimensions towards a stable healthy society. This initiate is now 3 years old since 2009 and it has become a major tool through a lending programme we are able to strengthen our member status. We also do joint activities for in-come generation including small scale business which we feel with enough in the near futre to even help reduce the problem of unemployment in our country. Newton O.
