Strife In Marriage

It was 2009 during the month of MAY when a friend of mine came visiting at my home. When at home i noticed how she treated my children and how she showed them too much respect yet they were just young. This bothered me so much and i decided to ask her why she did so and the story she gave me was absolutely shocking. One time she and her husband were experiencing tough times in marriage. They frequently fought and at times they embarrased each other before the children.This situation was very bad such that one time while fighting they hit their twelve year old first born daughter by bad luck and she was admitted in hospital for one week.Sometimes due to strife no one could bother to go and pick their children at school even though they were wealthy with very many cars. One evening while fighting their first born daughter locked them up in their bedroom for about a week.No one got out and all they did was to give out money to buy food. After the seventh day she went to court and reported them to a magistrate who came together with policemen and the children's officer of the district. She opened the doors of the bedroom and when the parents got out the magistrate and his crew gave them a stern warning of being jailed if they ever risked the life of their daughter and from then peace,love and unity has always been their emphasis.
