Jiggers

The mundika community suffere so much from jiggers over the years jiggers have been a disaster in the community and have paralsed the lives and activities of many who could not walk or work due to the jiggers which took their took their sovereignity in the hands and legs of the people of this community going or visiting this place was a very hard thing because of the fear to get out with jiggers In 2008 hope came in when the anti jigger campaign group led by Ahadi Trust Kenya visited this community and started to wash peoples legs and hands with some chemical that killed the jiggers.They also sprayed the area with chemicals that helped eradicate the jiggers from the area and assossciate. The jiggers are no more and the place is just a nice place to be.
