Accidents

In this nation (Kenya),There rouse a time when accidents rate rose sharply such that about 500 to 1000 people would die of accidents daily ,This was the period between 2000 and 2006.Most causes of these accidents were overspeeding and overloading of vehicles. Tears passed with the problem utill in strong persistence such that people feared so much to travel and if they did then it was just a miracle for them to reach their destination alive. Then just solution came at the peak of the almost declared national disaster problem .In 2003 elections were held had 2004 a member of parliament by then the honorable Michuki was appointed the minister of transport .In that period he came up with orders that all should vehicles should have speed governors and should strictly carry the specified numbers of passengers according to the capacity of the vehicles. At first the p.s.v operators were against but after full enforcement of the law,the fruits were witnessed. The level of road accidents drastically declined and the confidence of travelling by roads by was again restored and the fear was no more.
